Professional background and education
The profile introduces Danilo as a Systems Analyst and Programmer educated at the National University of Cuyo and as a quality-assurance professional with more than twelve years of experience. The initiative grew from an information-security community into an organization focused on knowledge sharing, professional connections, and educational opportunities.
The Underc0de Foundation provides free technology training to people who may not otherwise have access to it, helping them prepare for and enter the technology job market.
Technology serving the community
The recognition also covered projects with direct social impact. One was Rescatalos, a platform Danilo created with his sister Gianella to help reunite lost pets with their families, promote rescued animals, and support responsible adoption.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Danilo also led a team that used 3D printing and recycled materials to manufacture protective face shields for hospitals, police departments, and firefighters. The equipment was produced and donated at no cost.
